New International magazine online |
Articles, polemics, and reports by leaders of the Socialist Workers Party and world communist movement. In the pages of New International are writings and speeches by James P. Cannon, Farrell Dobbs, Joseph Hansen, George Novack, Evelyn Reed, Jack Barnes, and Mary-Alice Waters; by Fidel Castro, Ernesto Che Guevara, and Nelson Mandela; and by pioneers of the international working-class movement from Karl Marx and Frederick Engels to V.I. Lenin and Leon Trotsky.
From its first issue in 1934, the Marxist magazine has featured discussion and debates on building proletarian revolutionary parties in the United States and worldwide; on the fight for workers power and socialism; and on political lessons from revolutions in Cuba, Nicaragua, Grenada, Iran, Algeria, China, Russia, and beyond.
The first forty years, through 1975, are now indexed and online, and issues from 1982 to today are coming by February 2016. Remaining issues will be added as they are indexed.
