Pathfinder Press at Association of Asian Studies (AAS) Conference 2023
Boston, MA — Pathfinder Press’s Our History Is Still Being Written: The Story of Three Chinese Cuban Generals in the Cuban Revolution continues to be the best seller at conferences sponsored by the AAS.

This year’s conference attracted more than 3,400 professor, students, and librarians along with 70 exhibitors. More than 350 workshops provoked discussion on Asian music, art, cinema, and religion. Presentations were made on a wide range of topics from Japanese literature in Mexico, law and human trafficking, China’s welfare state, the history of Vietnam to divisions in the Korean peninsula.

The Pathfinder booth highlighted the broad range of Pathfinder titles with a focus on "Our History Is Still Being Written", both the English and Chinese versions, as well as titles related to the conference themes such as Leon Trotsky on China and Maoism vs. Bolshevism. The next popular titles were Pathfinder's newest books Labor, Nature, and the Evolution of Humanity and The low Point of Labor Resestance Is Behind Us.

Discussions at the booth centered on the economic and social crisis world-wide with an emphasis on Asia. A few dozen signed up for further information about Pathfinder Press.

A young woman, seeing Pathfinder books for the first time said, "You have a lot of wonderful books. I'll write you a letter about the books after I read them." She bought: U.S. Imperialism Has Lost the Cold War: New International no. 11, Fascism: What It Is and How to Fight It, and Labor, Nature, and the Evolution of Humanity.
