RESPONSE TO PATHFINDER PRESS BOOTH AT LA TIMES FESTIVAL OF BOOKS
LOS ANGELES — A constant stream of workers, students and other youth visited the Pathfinder booth at the L.A. Times Festival of Books April 23-24.

More than 200 books were sold in two days, twice as many as at the last LA Times Festival before the pandemic. Pathfinder Press volunteers staffing the booth discussed and debated questions highlighted by the Pathfinder titles ranging from the cause of soaring inflation, the Russian government’s invasion of Ukraine, the example of Cuba’s socialist revolution, and the fight to build unions.

The top selling books were Labor, Nature, and the Evolution of Humanity; Are They Rich Because They’re Smart?; Malcolm X, Black Liberation, and the Road to Workers Power; and The Jewish Question: A Marxist Interpretation.
