Eugene V. Debs
Eugene V. Debs (1855–1926) was a railroad worker, leader of the Pullman railway strike of 1894, and a founder of the Socialist Party, 1901. He opposed the imperialist First World War and supported the Russian Revolution but stayed in SP after the 1919 split that formed the Communist Party.
