Arabic Titles from Pathfinder Press Displayed at Jordan Book Fair
Amman, Jordan — The 25th Amman International Book Fair, Sept. 24–Oct.3, attracted more than 400,000 visitors. Over 400 publishing houses and institutions participated – local, Arab, and international from 23 countries along with authors, researchers and academics. The Jordanian Ministry of Culture noted that “this event contributes to the vitality of cultural and economic activity in the book industry.”
Many Pathfinder titles have been translated into Arabic, and these were displayed at the fair.
The Fada’at stand featured, from left to right: Lenin’s Final Fight; By Any Means Necessary by Malcolm X; An Introduction to the Logic of Marxism by George Novack; and Is Socialist Revolution in the US Possible? by Mary-Alice Waters (bottom row).
The Kanaan Publishing House of Damascus displayed, from left to right: Black Music, White Business by Frank Kofsky; Nelson Mandela Speaks; 50 Years of Covert Operations in the US by Larry Seigle, Steve Clark, and Farrell Dobs; Feminism and the Marxist Movement by Mary-Alice Waters; and Reform or Revolution? by Rosa Luxemburg (insert).
